~ Strategic HR SPHR® Credential Eligibility Criteria. SPHR® (Senior Professional in Human Resources) candidates must submit an application for certification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), an affiliate of SHRM (the Society for Human Resource Management). The SPHR exam is based on U.S. federal laws, regulations and practices and assesses all the functional areas of the HR field. SPHR questions tend to be more at the strategic and/or policy level. Candidates must have at least two years of exempt-level (professional) HR work experience (i.e. HRCI recommends 6-8 years). For more information, visit the HRCI website - www.hrci.org. This program is designed for professionals with varying levels of experience. Practicing HR professionals can increase their value within their organizations by fine-tuning existing skills and learning new practices. INSTRUCTOR/S Jim Gallo, SPHR Ms. Flynn has more than 20 years of human resource management experience in various industries such as banking, education, technology, financial services, government, hospitality, manufacturing, media, and retail. Carol has a unique blend of private and public sector in-house human resource management expertise with consulting experience for large and small client organizations. She is past president of the Greater Miami Society for Human Resources Management and has served on the HR Florida State Council as legislative affairs chair. Carol has a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. |

SUBSTITUTION, CANCELLATION, AND TRANSFER POLICIES
Program fees are due in full upon application to the program. If you are unable to attend this program, we will accept an appropriate substitute participant to take your place up to the day of the program. There is a $75 administration fee for substitutions made less than two weeks prior to the start of the program. NSU will grant an 80 percent refund for cancellations made two or more weeks prior to the start of the program. For cancellations made within two weeks prior to the start of the program, a 50 percent refund will be granted. There is no refund if you withdraw after the start of the program. We will allow one transfer of this registration to a future offering of the same program. We will charge an administration fee for any future postponements. Fees and dates are subject to change without notice. |
